The Next Option? Consolidate Debt

I’ve tried for a mortgage re-fi and found out, much to my horror, that my house isn’t worth what I paid for it.  There’s no equity to count on.  Now, I firmly believe that this is a situation that will remedy itself with time, but that doesn’t help me right now.  We needed a little day-to-day relief from credit card payments and a cushion to keep from bouncing checks. So, I found another opion to explore. There are companies out there that are offering to consolidate debt and some of them will do it without an upfront fee and others have great interest rates.  So, I do have another option.
