Improving My Guitar Playing Skills
November 19th, 2009 by admin
I am finally motivated to spend some time improving my guitar playing skills. I have always wanted to learn how to play blues guitar, and now I have found a great instructor. However, I don’t want to waste all my money on professional classes just to learn the basics, so I am going to practice a bit on my own and refresh my memory on how to play so when I start classes I will be able to do something a little bit more advanced. I am sure I might need a bit of a refresher still, but hopefully I won’t have to waste too many classes on that.

Son’s Tastes are Too Expensive For Me
November 10th, 2009 by admin
My son has been begging for a new guitar for his Christmas gift this year. I keep telling him they’re too expensive. He keeps quoting all these outrageous prices he reads about in music magazines. I finally told him when he finds free guitar articles to please let me know because there’s no way I’m purchasing him a guitar at those prices. I’m sorry to hurt his feelings that way, but I feel a guitar is probably going to be one of those items he has to work for and save up all the money himself to buy. I think he’ll appreciate it more that way.

No Church Pews in the Living Room, Please
November 5th, 2009 by admin
There is a quaint old stone church in Northumberland that was refurbished by a couple for use as a private residence. While they don’t have church pews in the living room, the dining room chairs do have hymnal pockets in the back that can be used for purses. Stained glass windows grace most of the rooms with quite nice results, especially the washroom. The church started out with wonderful architecture so the couple decided to take the more frugal route and restored the space to it’s original splendor rather than renovate. Apparently this was much less expensive, almost three times less.

Aspiring actors all over the country are confident they have the right skills to succeed in the industry, the only thing left to is to get discovered. Getting discovered can be quite challenging as there are countless of hopeful actors who want the same thing. One important thing is to get a good agent who knows a lot of people in the business. It is very important to market yourself the way you want to. For example, if you come from a first class Acting School San Diego, you are might have more chances of getting picked over an actor who just took an online acting course. Can You Learn to Play the Piano Online?
September 19th, 2009 by admin
First question is, “Do you love the Internet?” If you avoid e-mail as often as possible and think that surfing the WEB is a waste of time; if you haven’t signed up for a chat service or purchased anything online, and you put off buying your first computer until 2005, then you might want to consider whether you are a good candidate for learning to play the piano online. Online is online—it means sitting down at the computer along with your piano to practice and learn. Learning to play the piano online may even mean live chats with instructors and electronically submitting audios of your practice sessions. If that sounds like fun, then go for it! If not, you may want to consider a more traditional route.

No longer alone due to wedding magician
September 5th, 2009 by admin
I went to wedding a month ago alone because I’d recently split from my wife. I only knew the groom and his vey close family who all had roles to play so I was pretty much alone to mingle, something I don’t enjoy as I’m a rather shy person. However, there was a london wedding magician performing during the drinks reception and photographs and he was unbelievable. Apart from his fabulous entertaining it got every talking about his tricks during the meal and I no longer felt alone as we all had this wonderful experience in common. Anyone thinking of hiring a magician should seriously do so, it really helps brong people together.

Angel Wings Tattoo Beautifully Masks Girl’s Back Scars From Surgery
September 1st, 2009 by admin
Sandra had searched long and hard for the perfect tattoo design that would compliment her back, and also camouflage a couple of scars there from some back surgery that she had to undergo. Her tattoo artist suggested that she consider an Angel Wings Tattoo, that would do a perfect job of creating a beautiful cover for the scars, making them look as though they were actually part of the tattoo itself. Sandra agreed and paid her tattoo artist a mint to design some one of a kind wings, and when they were complete, they looked absolutely gorgeous on her back, and you could not tell she had scars along her spine.
