All over the show
December 22nd, 2009 by admin
We are heading up north for Christmas to visit some family and we are flying up a few days before so we can see some friends too. I have booked a vehicle from car hire auckland which we can thankfully pick up at the airport as they have a depot there. Originally I wasn’t going to bother with a rental, but our friends live all over the city and there is no easy way to get around to all of them unless we have a car. Anyway, it will be great to catch up with everyone and even better to have a change of scene for a week as we have not been on holiday for several months.

Learning German at Age Three
December 20th, 2009 by admin
My sister just started teaching her daughter how to speak German. She is only three years old, but my sister heard that learning german for kids was easier. She has been using the program for about a week now, and my niece is really learning quickly. Just the other day I called my sister and my niece answered the phone. She greeted me in German, which I thought was adorable. I think it is a great idea to start teaching them things like this at a young age. I will definitely borrow this program once I have children of my own.

Luxury at sea
December 19th, 2009 by admin
The American Safari Quest provides an intimate experience that expands notions of luxury at sea. Situated on the southwest coast of the Baja Peninsula near the Tropic of Cancer, the town of Todos Santos boasts half a dozen magnificently wild beaches. The Big Apple’s newest vantage point is arguably the nation’s most ambitious rails-to-trails project. The beach is only the beginning. Special slideshow from this western caribbean cruises event. It is always a notable event when a politician from one nation is moved to confer such a tangible honor on a living politician from another country. New Year at the lake
December 16th, 2009 by admin
I found a beautiful lodge on the taupo luxury accommodation site which we have booked in to stay at for a few days over the new year period. We were having a bit of a hard time deciding what to do. Some of our friends are heading across to Waiheke Island as they have a holiday home there but we eventually decided that we wanted to be by the lake. We have some other friends down there who have a boat which we can go out on so that will be great, we can do some water skiing and some fishing during the days.

I Learned the Value of Holiday Insurance the Hard Way
December 13th, 2009 by admin
I’ll admit that I can sometimes be a little too casual. For instance, I used to have a habit of jumping on a plane and taking little trips when I got bored. That may sound like fun but, trust me, it is not a lot of laughs to get sick while traveling, if you do not have holiday insurance. I always thought people who planned ahead were boring, but one expensive week in a foreign hospital changed my mind. These days I not only plan and pack carefully, but I log onto the Internet and buy a travel policy before I even confirm my reservations.

There is ice-cold blue water as far as the eye can see in the area of the world called Antarctica. Rehoboth Beach Dining is the Best Way to Eat
December 13th, 2009 by admin
I have been to so many beaches in my life, but my favorite by far is Rehoboth beach. The reason I love it so much is because I know there are plenty of things to do while I am there. There are so many places to shop, and to eat. I think my favorite Rehoboth beach dining is this little place that serves only fresh seafood. It is simply amazing, but not many people know about it. I could eat there every day of my life and never get tired of it. It is better than any large chain I have been to.

Big mistake
December 13th, 2009 by admin
Upon arriving at the car hire place to find that there had been a mix up with my booking was not at all what I wanted to hear. I don’t know how it happened but when I got there, there was no car for me. As you could imagine, I threw somewhat of a fit at the people for the mix up as I really needed that car for to get some very important meetings. They did get it resolved by paying for a vehicle from another company, but I can assure you they lost any future business from me, which is unfortunate for them as I would have used them quite often.
