Make sure to always switch up your workout program. It is important as anything. I made sure that I kept in good shape this winter while I was waiting to get back to work I trained with weights and with dumbell workouts. I went out on a job just recently and had to haul many very heavy flag stones all day by hand. The next morning my biceps where sore, really sore. My barbell curl weight has gone up all winter long and my biceps have responded great to the exercises. I just was using them in a different way at work.
