Effective muscle building requires a combined effort of multiple tactics

December 24th, 2009 by admin

The foremost important part for effective muscle building (German: effektiver Muskelaufbau) is your workout routine. Workouts should include muscle building exercises that are compound movements. Compound movements are exercises that work more than one muscle in your body simultaneously. A squat is a great example of a compound exercise since it works many muscles at the same time. Ideally, the workout should affect all the muscles in your body and not be solely a focus on one area. The second focus should be on diet. A body cannot increase its muscle mass without the proper intake of nutrients. Protein levels must be maintained since a workout breaks down muscles in order to rebuild them. Daily, one gram of protein per pound of body weight is the common rule when working out.
